We are Sailing!

Today can be summed up in one word ... sensational!

The children that went sailing with us today showed everyone what great YMS heroes they are. They really did us proud with both their behaviour and attitude and their willingness to take a risk trying something new. We would have preferred to have a little more wind to help us move, but the children did a great job anyway.

These are only a few of the photos that were taken today. The children will be posting photos of themselves throughout today on their learning blogs on Friday.

  6. This was a superb day. I was so impressed with the way that all students worked together to support each other. It was great to see everyone listening to and following instructions. I can see now how sailing is considered a wonderful pastime or sport for many people.

  8. How do I get to come? Surely there is some cyber smart stuff I could have done on site there! That looked like a brilliant day. What sort of yachts were these? How do you stop the bottom of the sail hitting you when you change direction?
