Rimu is back for 2021!

Hi everyone, welcome back to the Rimu Class Blog for 2021!!

Rimu has changed quite a bit since 2020. We have -

18 new faces

and

3 familiar faces from last year.

Can you spot our returning Year 8 Leaders??

Our first week has been full of learning the ropes in class and... swimming in our school pool!

  1. Hello there new experiments of Rimu,
I see you're slowly making your way through the year already with photos, although one of them seems familiar from last year photos of Rimu 2020..

It may be upsetting to see COVID might make it's return to New Zealand, but I hope your all still striving in Yaldhurst this year, and I've heard that there isn't many Year eights and definitely no year seven numbers this year, which is nearly impossible to think about.

I'd like to look at the Rimu Blog ever so often and possibly comment on some posts while I'm at it. Since it looks like you've already handled Valentines Day with Origami. Conveniently I'm sending this comment on my birthday as well, so sweet wishes from me, your clearly favorite year 9 this year.

Have fun, New Generation of Rimu!

    1. Happy Birthday Nikita!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that is 21 exclamation marks from every single one of us + ! from Miss Rennell and ! from Mrs Royfee :)

Thank you for your comment, we were really excited to read it and hear from you! You are the 3rd / 4th person from 2020 to write to us because we have heard from Grace (and kind of Abby too), and also Mia. I wonder if we will hear from Ethan or Teegan, or even Bridget maybe... ?!

We hope you are enjoying Burnside High and that it isn't too big that it is scary. Have you made some new friends? What have you learnt about? Have you seen any other YMS students (maybe Mika...? ;)

Rimu is going pretty good - we have one new student and his name is Zach. Can you spot him in the photos...? There's a challenge for you!

You're most welcome to come back and visit/ comment anytime. We miss you and will hear from you again soon, right?!

    2. Hello again, Rimu.
Sorry for not responding immediately, but thank you for the happy birthday wishes. And just to say I have seen Mika a few times but the more frequent one has to also be Mikael.

Also if I'm right your 2021 class conveniently has 21 people, also I think I can identify the new student but it is difficult since he's practically blending already.

Also I've thought about visiting, after all I need to return my uniform sadly. But I'll return one day, mark my words!
