Surprise lunchtime visitor in Rimu

A black, white and tan shadow flashed across the grass towards some unsuspecting students eating their lunch. It is a dangerous creature, filled with sharp teeth and a strong-smelling nose. It had smelt the food of the students and was wanting to devour their lunch.
What were these students to do?

There was only one thing they could do ...

I'm not sure much lunch was actually eating today. Can you guess why?

What a cute puppy! Looks like you had the best lunch time playing around that puppy. I am sure there was hardly an lunch eaten!

Do you know the name of the puppy?
What was the favourite thing you did with the puppy?

Keep up the great work Rimu Class!

    1. Hi Katelynn, I'm Kade a year 6 from Yaldhurst.

Believe it or not but I was one of the Kids she came to.
Yes the dog was very cute, Her name was Rosie
She was very playful and sometimes she even nibbled at our fingers.
It is sad that she was only there for a small amount of time
because she had to leave and is now at her proper house.

Sometimes wish I had a tiny dog;) Do you have a dog?

      Kind regards
      Kade

  3. Hi, I'm Tyler and I am from ST Bernadette's,

I really like how the dog came over while the three people in the 2nd photo were eating their lunch.

It remind's me of my dog at home and how she is always excited to see me come home.

Next time you could use a little bit more information.

I got a question, was the dog one of the teachers dog or did the dog just come into the property?

  4. Kia Ora Rimu Class, the Dog looks so cute I wish I was there to give him a wee cuddle, you guys are so lucky! This made me think about me have lots of cute little dogs just like the one your patting right now in the picture. Maybe for your very last sentence maybe you could fix that up a bit cause I didn't really get what you were saying.

    Answers to your questions:
Q1: I think its because the kids were too busy playing with the cute dog!
Q2: Maybe they had to run away from it cause maybe it would have eaten their lunch!

I cant wait to see more of your fun blog posts!

  5. Hi Rimu Class!

Wow, that doggy is cute, and when I say cute I mean it!😍

I like how it looked like yous were having the time of your lives with that little dog. I wish my dogs would just snuggle and play with me like that. All though they play with me and snuggle me, they get really jumpy and quite annoying most of the time.

I guess the doggo was worth not eating food!

I wish I could just have a dog that wanted to snuggle 24/7, but they normally would rather bark at random things outside. Do you have a dog like mine that's pretty annoying!?

  6. Aloha, Rimu class I loved looking at the pictures, did you enjoy patting the dog, this reminded me of when I got my first dog. Who's dog was it and what was it name?, also next time you could check that your sentence makes sense, I don't really understand the part where it says your not sure much lunch go eating today?.
Apart from that everything looked good.
    Yours Sincerely,
    Greer

  7. Kia ora Rimu Class, I am Denise, a year 6 from St Bernadette's School. I really like how you have photos showing what happened and how there is a picture of a dog. I bet that it was fun having a dog in your school. I think not much lunch was eaten because some people were too distracted. Maybe next time you could add more things that happened while the dog was there.

  8. Hi Rimu Class, I'm Mark from St. Bernadette's School.

I like the way that you added that the dog, that it was scary because it wants food from the students. The part "I'm not sure much lunch was actually eating today." was actually funny, and it gave the idea that the dog ate food from students.
This reminds me of sometimes, a dog goes to our school and it's with its owner. The dog shows up after school sometimes.
If you don't mind me asking, Who's the owner, and why is he/she there?

    Kind Regards
    Mark

I like the way that the dog is cute looking I sometimes wish that a dog could come into our school. This dog reminds me of my dog but my dog is way bigger. Next time could you say what the dogs felings are like or if it is like special.

Was it just rimu class that played with the dog?

My name is Makayla and I am a Year 8 student from Point England school. I really enjoyed your blog post, it was really appealing and cute. I thought it was really interesting. I liked the pictures you added into your post. But in your future posts, maybe you could structure your post a bit as it is a bit messy. I also think that you could add a bit more text into your post so that viewers could understand your post a bit more better.

    Yours Sincerely,
