New Zealand Sign Language with Victoria; our NZSL Tutor!

Today we learnt how to finger spell the alphabet and also finger spell our names. I learnt how to say the word 'your', because I always thought it was pointing but from the video you can see I know how to do it properly, (with your fist). I felt seeing what everyone was spelling with their name quite difficult. I'm looking forward to the Name Game which we will play next time Victoria is in!

Collaborative van Gogh Painting!

For the past 6 weeks the Year Sixes did a collaborative painting, 'A starry night' By Vincent van Gogh. We all used different techniques on the paper to make a cool effects on the paper. we chose different size brushes to create different patterns. We used SOLO to describe our learning and my thinking is Multistructural because I can describe several things about van Gogh's painting skills. My next step is Relational so I can describe several things about van Gogh paintings and explain why I used this skill in this way. It was so fun and I really enjoyed it!
