Undercover Surprises

What a great day Mrs Spragg and Mrs Taylor had on their Digital Fluency Intensive Course today. Our brains are filled with a large amount of information and ideas that we are going to enjoy sharing with our students and other staff over the coming weeks.

Today was especially fantastic as we got to meet a special someone that most of our Year 7 and 8 children have been engaging with this year. Hmmm ... who is it I hear you ask? Well you will have to uncover the surprise.

  1. Aloha Rimu class, It so cool that you got to meet Mrs Stone. I liked how you made all those slides so we had to try and guess who the person was. But is Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu a school or what is it?.
    Kind regards

    2. Hi Greer! My name is Mia and I am a student from Rimu class. Thank you for the kind comment and how you really liked the slides, Mrs Taylor told us she would want to do these kind of posts more.

To answer your question, Tui Mai Tui Atu is what we do as a class, this is when we comment on other school's blogs and they do the same. Our teachers, Mrs Spragg and Mrs Taylor, just happened to find one of the teachers from one of our Tui Mai Tui Atu schools.
Do you do something similar to Tui Mai Tui Atu?

Thank you for taking the time to comment!

  3. Hi Rimu Class! I am Kylie from St Bernadettes school, I really like how you made your blog post really interesting and exciting. This made me think about who the person might be but then it turned out to actually be three peoples instead of one person. What does Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu mean?

    1. Hi Kylie! My name is Mia and I am a student from Rimu class. Firstly, I want to give you a big thanks for commenting on our class blog. To answer your question, Tui Mai Tui Atu means "Write to me, write to you" Kind of like an online pen-pal.

      Thank you again!
