What does this mean to you...?

  1. There are a couple of ways I wish to respond to this saying/advice. Firstly from a work point of view I find that I have to prioritise and commit to finishing something before moving on to the next job. And there are always plenty of jobs to do.

From a personal point of view I commit to exercise and to learning to play my guitar so that when I play a gig I am prepared. I also commit to turning the TV off and reading as I find reading a much more immersive and fulfilling activity.

  2. I thinks this means that if you commit to something then you have stuff to do but if you don't you have nothing to do and then you get bored and focus more on others

  3. I think that means if you don't learn anything, you will be distracted really easily.

  4. This means to me that if your not focusing on anything or working on something that everything will bother you or make you lose your focus this is because theres nothing to put your energy and mind onto. For exsample if you were bored in class and were not doing your work you wouldn't be committing to anything so every little thing that goes on around you would make you get distracted, this could leave you in a bad situation.

  5. Hi,

I think that means that if you don't do what you are supposed to do you will most likely get distracted because you have not done what you were supposed to do.

    Thats MINE!!!!

  7. This means to me, there's a time and a place where you need to be. But being thoughtless or distracted happens when your not pursuing anything especially a time or place when there's a action needing to be done. Committing to nothing happens when your already distracted or if you're unaware of what is happening around you.

This is what this quote means to me.
    Kind Regards,
    Nikita.

  8. This means that if you say that you will do nothing, or to just do nothing simply, you will be distracted by everything that is around you because there is no way to do absolutely nothing. By saying that you will do nothing and to sit in a chair and stare off into space, that is doing something, and probably, you will be distracted by the way that you are doing 'nothing' or what I should be saying is, 'sitting-in-a-chair-and-staring-off-into-space' There is no way that you can actually do nothing, because doing nothing is doing something.

I also think that is means that if you commit to doing nothing, you will be distracted by everything else that is going on around you, tapping of pencils, talking, basically everything will come to your senses when you are not distracted or doing whatever you are meant to do. This is what that means for me.

  9. To me, this means that you need to commit to doing something, so that you will have something to do so that you won't get distracted by anything? Because like, you need to work on one thing, and maybe while doing it, you might be so focused on doing your job, and so you won't get distracted by anything else??

Yeah, I'm not very good at this type of stuff. :(

I think this means: by not knowing what to do or not learning it is going to be easy to get distracted.

  12. This means to me that if you don't concentrate on somethings you will get distracted easliy by everthing that is happening around you because you are not in deep focus. You are not focusing on one thing so that leads to being distracted because you can't concentrate.

  13. It means that if you don,t commit to anything you will not be able to make a commitment because other things will distract you.

  14. Hi
In my opinion I think that means that you don't learn anything.

  15. Hello,

This is a tricky question. But I believe that if you commit to something like learning to play piano, you will want to learn it so much that you'll focus mostly on learning that it will be the main thing going through your mind.
Nothing can get you of it. If you don't commit to anything you'll find yourself getting distracted by most simple things. So you won't be able to do that task, because your not focused

    Bye :D

  18. I think this means that if you have nothing you need to do you easily get off task. If you have no commitments then you don't learn to ignore things you don't need to see or listen to. When one person is distracted they might move on to distract others from whatever commitment they have and might be doing.

Also when you aren't doing anything you are just wasting time when you could be doing or learning something new.

  19. In my point of view maybe you can offer services to the class or school. Maybe something like helping the teachers during cross-country or any other important day. If you don't do anything, you will have nothing to do. you will be distracted by something.

  20. In my opinion I think that if you have lots of things to do, and or you are keeping busy. The things that would distract you the most if you keep busy they won't distract you anymore. So If you are not doing anything you are going to get distracted and then distract others.

  21. I think this means, if you are not doing anything/doing what you've been asked, than it's quite easy to distract yourself/other people.

  22. I think that this means that if you don't try anything then you won't learn anything and you will get distracted by other things and not learn how to not be distracted and won't really learn anything because you aren't giving anything a go.

  23. I think that means that if we don't join or commit yourself to doing something we will be distracted by everything. And if we do commit to something and you are doing it with all your heart, you will not be distracted by anything.

  24. I think this means if you comment on nothing that you got to be comment on something that what I think
If you get distracted by everything.

  25. To me this means that if you don't commit do something that you did then you will get distracted by every little thing around you, for example if someone is talking to someone on the other side of the room then you will get distracted by it, and lose focus of what you are supposed to do.

    Kind Regards Jorja.
