Today's words of the day - Collaboration & Competitions!

Today's learning was brought to you by the letter

Our Google MEET focus was on Collaboration -

we worked digitally with a buddy on a shared Google Doc.

The task was an Emoji Quiz on Famous Children's books.

The highest score we got in about 10 minutes was 16/25 - that' was pretty good!

You can try it here -

The answers are at the bottom of this post (but don't cheat!)

If you liked that,

try this one on Kids Movies - add your scores in the comments!

Answers for this are at the bottom of this post too.

The YMS Student Council is launching a cool Student-wide competition today too

so stay tuned for that!

It's...

Also, Rimu's Guess Who is still going a couple of posts down - have a go!

Good News for Rimu in Lockdown!

Today we got some pretty cool news...

The Year 6's love Maths so much that

they have made it onto a Hall of Fame!

That's right, the Mathletics Hall of Fame!

Don't believe us?

Well here's the proof!

First we were 50th, then 22nd!

Thanks Bridget for spotting us! 😉👍🏻

Oh and that's not all,

we also have a Mathlete in the

Top 100 students in the country, HA!

Bet you would never have thought that!

Here's some more proof!

Now the challenge is on... what are the Year 7/8s going to do about it? Hmmmm...

Who will be next on the Hall of Fame...?

OH and here's some more news...

The YMS Student Council met today too, on Google MEET.

They have something cool brewing...what will it be?

Here are some clues and some inside info 🤭  -

1. It could be launched this week

2. It should be fun
3. It will be for the whole school

It's true, here's the meeting proof...

Oh and the best part of today is that it is

Jorja's Birthday!

🎵We sang Happy Birthday

(well, some of us did!...we have a few shy singers amongst us)

AND

🎵 we played her this song -

AND

✍ We are spamming her blog with happy birthday comments -

you can say Happy Birthday to Jorja here too!

We hope you all had a good Monday!

Stay safe in your bubble, until next time!
