Three went to town (on behalf of Rimu)

Three of our School Council members took our class responses into the Botanic Gardens today to lay at the wall where all the flowers have been placed.

The girls looked and read all that they could in the time that they were there.

They also took a few moments to lie our class items down. They felt very proud that we were able to contribute something that will be shared with the Muslim community.

Mika, Mia and Julia found the experience very moving saying that they were amazed at how much was there and how fantastic it is that so many people are showing Aroha to the Muslim community.

  2. Kia ora Rimu Class, I am really impressed that you took the time to go and visit the flowers and all the special things that people left by the wall in the city. Such a good idea to take a few people down. The contributions that your class made were amazing and I bet you felt proud sharing them with the Muslim Community. How did you feel down there? What was the general feeling? Some people that have visited told me it felt very sad but also nice to be together.

Wow your art is very pretty it looks like it took a long time. Did it take a long time? What part did you like the most? Yes it does look like a lot of people have put Aroha love to the Muslim community. Your class should be very proud on what you have have done. What did the three students feel like being down there?
