Woodend Camp - Day One

Despite the rain (and tiniest drop of snow), camp got off to a great start. The walk was delayed, but camp booklets and some team building happened instead.

A great bus trip to camp and then it was time to find our cabins, set up our beds, eat lunch and get into our activity groups for Go Carting and Flying Fox/Zip Line. Everyone was super brave and gave everything their best, entering the learning pit and challenging themselves. Ka pai tamariki.

Finally, it was dinner (Nachos, yum!) and then a movie in the games room. It involved a blue bird, can you guess what it was? And then sleeping like babies (That's right Mrs Taylor and Mrs Spragg were up every 2 hours ;) )

  4. Kia Ora Rimu Class,
Wow, you did all of those things? So you watched a movie, ate nacho's, drove a race car, relax, colouring in, flying fox, zip line AND you got to sleep in a cabin? Now that's what I call fun. I would totally go there if I had the chance.

  6. Hola Rimu Class,
My name is Bella and I am a year 6 student who attends to Papakura Central School. I can't believe you did all those things, like watching a movie and zip lining. You guys are so lucky! I wish our end of the year senior school camp would be like this! I would definitely go there if I could. I like how you had pictures and then a bit of writing to tell what you did. What was one activity you guys all enjoyed the most?
    Blog you Later,
    Bella.

  9. Hi Rimu class, my name is Dazharn from Waikowhai Primary school. I am year six and my class is room 9. I like all the photos that made me jealous and made me want to go go carting as well. One thing you could change is to have less photos because there were to many and it took to long to scroll down. Please come check out my blog at http://wpsdazharnr.blogspot.com Blog you later.
