Last Manual/Technology for the year ... thanks Lincoln High!

Mrs Spragg was very excited. She was able to go to manual because Mr Robertson was home with a bit of a pain in the tooth. Poor Mr Robertson! But joy, joy, Mrs Spragg jumped on the bus and headed to Lincoln Primary along with the Year 7&8's. She was hoping to learn how to cook, sew, science and woodwork in the few hours she was there.

First stop, sewing with Piper, Ariana, Bree, Liam, Brayden and Jacob. They were all working on finishing their projects. Pencil cases, cell phone holders & dinosaur creations.

After helping a bit with some sewing the next stop was the block with cooking, science and woodwork. Everyone one was a busy bee, cooking, listening and painting.

Break time! Thank goodness, Mrs S was tired out with all that learning. We banged into a familiar face, Mrs Washbourne, our lovely reliever. So of course, we got some photos taken.

Our lovely Year 8 girls.

Break was over and we all headed back to work. Ian and Parwin had been baking and it looked delicious. Mystery box = yummo!

The Science crew; Hannah, Chloe, Mikael & Jedi, were making potato guns. I went along to see how it all worked. And yes, they can explain how pressure works to make the potatoe shoot across the field.

Grace was still painting in Woodwork. She is hard working and quite good at it.

Back in the sewing room it was all panic. Time was almost up and not everything was finished. Thankfully Mrs S can drive a sewing machine. Whew, everything got done.

It was a really great time at manual. Our students are hard working, kind and creative. They should be very proud of themselves and what they achieved this year.
